For the Subject Review Section of the present 75th Issue of “Endocrinologia Pediatrica on Line”, we have selected to include an interesting report recently published in Horm Res Paediatr (2019;91:93-103) entltled “Hypogonadism in Children with a Previous History of Cancer: Endocrine Management and Follow-Up, by van Santen HM et al. from the Wilhelmina Children’s Hospital, Utrecht, The Netherlands, and from the Royal Hospital for Sick Children, Edinburgh, United Kingdom.

For the Bibliographic Review Section, we have selected to comment on seven recent publications (see bibliographic citations in the respective Section): 1) Continuous Free Cortisol Profiles – Circadian Rhythms In Healthy Men, 2)  Pharmacology, Physiology, and Mechanisms of Incretin Hormone Action, 3) Bile Modulates Secretion of Incretins and Insulin: A Study of Human Extrahepatic Cholestasis, 4) Genetic Polymorphisms Associated with Idiopathic Short Stature and First-Year Response to Growth Hormone Treatment, 5) The Bone Markers Sclerostin, Osteoprotegerin, and Bone-Specific Alkaline Phosphatase (B-ALP) Are Related to Insulin Resistance in Children and Adolescents, Independent of Their Association with Growth and Obesity, 6) Paediatric and Young Adult Manifestations and Outcomes of Multiple Endocrine Neoplasia Type 1, and 7) Resistance to GHRH but Not to PTH in a 15-Year-Old Boy With Pseudohypoparathyroidism 1A.
